Department of Neurology
The Neurology Department at the Hospital for Joint Diseases provides a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with neurological disorders. Our outstanding clinical staff includes specialists in multiple sclerosis, pain management, spine and nerve pain, attention deficit disorder and cerebral palsy. The Neurorehabilitation and Traumatic Brain Injury programs are centers of innovation and excellence for the treatment of neurobehavioral disorders. In addition, the Initiative for Women with Disabilities is a center committed to providing high quality medical, gynecological and wellness programs promoting services for women with disabilities and chronic conditions in a fully- accessible environment. The Attention Deficit Disorder Center offers multi-disciplinary treatment to both children and adults with ADD.
Research
A very active research program is part of the MS Care Center’s mission to investigate diagnostics and drugs that could prove to be helpful in treatment and, perhaps, eventual cure of MS.
MoreFellowships & Residency
A one year post-neurology subspecialty training program devoted to acquiring the clinical and electrodiagnostic skills necessary to evaluate and treat patients with neuromuscular diseases, epilepsy sleep and autonomic disorders.
