Advanced Practice Nursing
Advance Practice Nurses at Hospital for Joint Diseases are a cohesive group of board-certified Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Anesthetists practicing in specialty areas including:
- Critical Care
- Diabetic foot and ankle
- Infectious Disease
- Pain management
- Post Anesthesia Recovery
Advance Practice Nurses provide expert care in our inpatient and outpatient settings, including clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care for a diverse group of patients. In addition, we help to create a collaborative environment with all disciplines to meet the individual goals of our patients.
Advance Practice Nurses not only prioritize achieving the best outcomes for our patients using evidence-based-practice and patient centered care, but are also actively involved in multidisciplinary staff development and practice advancement through education, policy and protocol formulation. We strive for daily excellence in each patient encounter.
With the focus on Orthopedics, Rheumatology and Neurology, we provide care to patients in a facility with services extended to our multiple ambulatory settings including outpatient Pain Management, Multiple Sclerosis, Diabetes (Foot an Ankle), Pediatric and Rheumatology clinics.
Our Advance Practice Nurses are dedicated to our patients, the community and the profession of nursing. Within our group are researchers, academicians, educators, health policy advocates and volunteers. - Board Certification as an Advance Practice Nurse
