Full-time Registered Nurses with six months of service can receive up to $5,000 in Tuition Reimbursement benefits per calendar year toward Nursing courses or a degree in Nursing at any accredited institution. For degrees related to advancement in healthcare which are not in Nursing, $2,400 is available.
Part-time Registered Nurses in the Weekend Bonus Program with six months of service can receive up to $2,400 in Tuition Reimbursement benefits per calendar year toward Nursing courses and Nursing degrees at any accredited institution.
The benefits can be applied to tuition, registration fees, lab fees and books.
Staff employed in temporary positions are not eligible for tuition assistance.
No work/payback agreement is required.
Federal regulations requiring taxation of education benefits apply to both Tuition Remission and Tuition Reimbursement.
